It was a few days before payday, and I was on my way home from work. I have been living from paycheck to paycheck, but in this economy, it’s a good thing to have a job at all. Money is tight, but think I can scrape by until my paycheck would arrive. I then noticed that noise rattling from under the hood again, just a little worse than it was last time. I crossed my fingers and promised myself that I would take care of what is going on with my car as soon as I get paid. Just like I had said to myself before my last payday.
I was almost home when I heard a loud ping under the hood. My car dies and I coast it off the road, right under an overpass. I pop my hood to see what had blown this time. Not knowing anything about cars and close to my buddy Doug’s house, I gave him a call to see if he could help me out. After 20 or so minutes he pulls up in his car to check what’s wrong.
The fan belt was in ribbons and to fix this and another part of my engine I had to invest a little over $2000 (already forgot which part; like I said, I’m car illiterate). I immediately freaked out because there was absolutely no way I could afford this.
We called a tow truck and Doug gave me a ride home. In the car as I was thinking out loud on my options, Doug told me about how online payday loans have helped him out in some tight crunches. I’d heard of instant payday loans in the past, but hadn’t given them much thought. Doug told me to consider a payday loan and look it over when I got home.
I can’t begin to thank him enough for that advice. The terms for an instant payday loan were great and I was approved online and received the money with an hour. I had my car fixed the next morning and paid off my loan quickly. Since then I have used online payday loans a few times and cannot express into words how to clutch they have been for me. They have helped me through a few tight situations and I am extremely grateful for them.
